Premise:

Never before has it been so important to walk in the steps divinely ordered for us. Over the past few years, we have watched and intimately felt the steady decline of our nation’s economy. It’s affected our work life, families and friends, and even our mental and physical well-being. Now that we can be certain things will not “bounce back”, it’s time for a peculiar people to take stock and ask ourselves: What does all this mean?

 

Beloved, it means we are in the perfect place! After much turmoil and delay, it was the Joshua generation that was given the clearance to finally walk into the promises of God. We all have a promise, stored up on the inside of us, waiting to come to pass. The Lord instructed the Joshua’s group to “be strong and of good courage, be not afraid or dismayed” for the Lord was with them WHEREVER they went. The same holds true for us.

Event Description:

The WOVD 7^th Annual Christian Women’s Leadership Conference will be held over three days and focus on equipping Women of Faith with effective, leadership skills in order to launch successful businesses and expand their careers.

 

During the day, WOVD will host a rare opportunity to learn from some of Chicago’s most successful female executives as they share their expertise on being strong, innovative leaders in Corporate America and in their own companies. Forums, panel discussions, and personalized tutorials will be conducted to illustrate pivotal points for advancement and empowerment. Nightly, well-known ministers will offer up a solidifying Word from the Lord to build the sustaining faith required to succeed.
